What to Expect When Your Expecting To Be At San Diego Comic Con: tokidoki Edition

To start, let us introduce you to the What to Expect When Your Expecting To Be At San Diego Comic Con series of posts. These are intended to highlight vendors featured at previous San Diego Comic Cons for those whom have never attended. Our first pick is my personal favorite, tokidoki.

tokidoki is a fashion brand by an Italian designer, Simone Legno. tokidoki means "sometimes" in Japanese. Legno, who has always had a deep love of Japan and fascination with world cultures, chose the word because he feels "everyone waits for moments that change one’s destiny, by chance or by meeting a new person".

This is the tokidoki booth at a Singapore Con, but if you see this back splash or this dude, your in the right place!
Not familiar with the brand? Guys, Last I checked chicks dig tokidoki. It's cute. So if your manhood can withstand sporting a slightly less edgy version of your Marvel favorites, this is a great tee to put under that blazer for your night out. The shirt shown here is $24 at their site.
tokidoki x Marvel Psylocke Men's teetokidoki x Marvel Comic Girls HoodieGirls, after today you may have a new problem, loving tokidoki. Their website features  purses, wallets, luggage, jewelry, clothes, and honestly anything you wanted just cuter. The hoodie shown below is $60 at their site.
Personally, I think you pay for three things with this brand: Quality, Brand Recognition, and Design. The price ranges on their site and at their booth from $4 for phone accessories to $290 for luggage. (I do warn they did not carry their entire line at the booth, however they covered most price points).
*Check in your local comic book store too. Ours features several tokidoki items without the shipping!
Now for the hardcore existing tokidokians, I really hope they have a booth again because you will be in in awe. Simone Legno often appears at his booth for signings at specific times and the autographs are ticketed (although I have seen him there at plenty of other times hanging out and he was very nice and chatty). They also feature SDCC exclusives, and and they threw a party that we missed because we were partying elsewhere.

One of last year's exclusives.
