What to Expect When Your Expecting To Be At San Diego Comic Con: Steam Crow Edition
Hooowwwllll.... what's that? No, we don't need a rabies shot. We are just really excited to present to you Steam Crow.
What attendees will find at your booth typically?
Steam Crow makes "Good Monster Goods"; basically, Halloween and monster inspired prints, books, and hand-made toys that we make ourselves. All of it has a cartoon, vintage vibe, and most of it is spooky-cute and fun. We also create a lot of old movie posters, propaganda art, and faux vintage advertising.
Yes, we're planning on featuring a SDCC exclusive print again this year: It's a limited edition screenprint called "Rasputin's Hypnosis Academy." 11x17, it is hand-printed on art red art paper. Only 100 will be printed.
What are some past highlights you may have for attending San Diego, or tips you can offer?
1. Take your time; pace yourself. If you rush, you'll miss out on lots of cool things.
2. Check out indie artists; a lot of them are doing really cool, original work. Your support means a lot to each of them, as opposed to big media companies, who don't really care.
3. Take care of yourself. The show is exhausting, and you'll need plenty of water, rest, and food to enjoy it all.
Heck, I wrote a whole article on SDCC tips: http://www.webcomicmarketing.com/?p=51
Here at Con Sweet Con we love everything, especially Halloween and limited edition items. We suggest checking out their Monster Shot Pint Glasses for a super unique wedding or bridal shower gift. Spice up your lanyard for San Diego Comic Con with their badges , brooches or pins. Last but not least, if your rocking naked walls cover those things up with prints that inspire dreams of whimsical terror (btws does anyone know proper online howling etiquette).
