HBO's GOTopoly at San Diego Comic Con

Sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some... with GOTopoly it doesn't really matter because it's a beautiful game based on an amazing franchise.
We won SDCC by being picked on Twitter to participate in the GOTopoly party! The tables were decked out with two boards setup at each round table. We were given instructions to play a quick version of the game and given the go ahead to begin our war of lands.

Our group was dead set to be super ruthless and not sell anything to anyone! I mean it's Game of Thrones. Then we decided whatever let's just make some super shady deals in true GOT fashion.
HBO and USAopoly made the entire night a blast! They USAopoly people came around helping to make the game play more dynamic. While HBO had fun prizes for everyone, I won a GOT map mousepad/screencleaner.
Then just to top the night off, Davos (Liam Cunningham) showed up to say Hi! I had to tell him how I thought Stannis did the right thing burning his poor daughter up. (it's tr…

Talk Nerdy To ANYONE at SDCC

If we ever meet, you'll probably realize my superhero power is most likely related to being outgoing and people oriented. I'd like to share some possible talking points for nerds that may have different interests than you.
Maybe they are wearing a shirt, reading a comic or standing in line for the panel, no matter the clue SDCC gives you a great opportunity to meet people based on their interests.

Go on a cross country road trip in your car?
Make all of your decisions for a month?

Squirrel Girl-
If you could talk to a species of animal, what would it be? They have to be your friends and follow you around too 😊
Does it play down the villians powers or evil?
Could she be a hero for an anti bully …

Recovery Tips For A Better San Diego Comic Con Experience

RunDisney started our newest obsession with running. This new hobby has also provided us with new tools to deal with some of the physical side effects of SDCC stress. We are not affiliated with these products and advise you consult a physician (not meant to replace professional medical advice)

Hydration: nuun all day or active. Why people love these, EASY TRAVEL! They are tablets you can add to any water. Made for bikers on the go, super handy for a convention where even food lines are super long. Grab an empty bottle and the water fountain. These can't hurt for helping with recovering from those open bars either. I've tried seems to help!

nuun all day - suggested for those in panels. you want to stay healthy - nuun all day has vitamins + minerals
by adding flavor and electrolytes to water, you trigger the body's natural reaction to drink more by up to 90%nuun active or energy- suggested for those rockin the floor and outside events. you sweat - nuun active replenishes. energ…

We think you'll like Jack and all he has to offer including a SDCC exclusive!

What is the best convention moment you have had?
Our best convention moment ever is meeting our fans.Mostly, getting our book to children who love it and read it continually. It is very humbling have fans post pictures of themselves reading our books and enjoying them.
What is your favorite autograph or collectible you’ve picked up at a convention?
Meeting Tony Moore, creator of The Walking Dead and Kevin Eastman, creator of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the best.We had the opportunity to exchange our autographed book with theirs. Where do you find inspiration for your work?
We find inspirat…

Drown Your SDCC Sorrows In Dragoncon Tickets

First, I wholeheartedly wish everyone that wanted to attend San Diego Comiccon could. However that's not the reality we're working with. I have heard many people compare Wondercon and tried it myself last year. It was cool and if you live close, don't miss it! This however is for the hardcore travelling people who make SDCC their vacation of the year. If you find yourselves without badges this year, I suggest you consider Dragoncon.
The main hotels are sold out already (Boo). I suggest you follow Dragoncon and all the hotels on Twitter and if they release any hotels that people don't pay for right before the event. scoop those  up. Why? Because Dragoncon is a huge nerd party. Nothing like SDCC. So the main hotels are main parties. But there are buses to get you around from other hotels too. Let's get into it.

Cosplay: it's serious at Dragoncon. It's fun. It includes everyone and even has classes and opportunities for every level to expand their Cosplay knowl…
